    "I'll do anything..." I pounded my fist on the icy concrete, hearing a somewhat satisfying crack.

    Then the pain started. My senses suddenly dulled and I fell forward once more. "I can't live without you, Lucy..." My body shuddered and my tears were now constantly streaming down my face, dropping to the pavement below me.
